100th anniversary of the St. Mary’s Boat Club

Built in 1905, the boat club was originally operated by the Young Men’s Temperance & Benevolent Society. It was established as the St. Mary’s Boat Club in 1919. Currently, the facility is host to various receptions, summer camps, and canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board rentals.
The celebrations will include free canoe rentals, a performance by the Halifax Boys Honour Choir and light refreshments.
